Carlsen today belongs to the Swedisch publishing group Bonnier AB and is one of the leading publishers of children’s and young adult literature as well as fantasy, Graphic Novels, comics, mangas and humour books.
The children’s book list consists of innovative board books, picture books and fiction for children and young adults. Carlsen also publishes as App, E-book, enhanced Ebook, Product Bundle and Digital Only Products.

1967: Carlsen Comics has started (Herge’s TinTin)

1998: Harry Potter came (over 30 Mio copies were sold of the German Edition)
2006: Biss (Twillight) by Stephenie Meyer 1. book was published (over 10 Mio copies were sold of the German Edition)
2011: First Pixi App startet
2013: 60th Aniversary, founding of new Imprint „Königskinder“, start Digital Imprints „Impress“ and „Instant Books“
2015: Acquisition of Lappan, the market leading publisher for humour books
