VISUAL STORYTELLING
The German Designer Club (DDC) is an initiative of designers and “design in mind” companies that spreads the message of design excellence, a platform for interdisciplinary designers in Germany and abroad. Ten DDC representatives from highly successful German agencies will speak about Storytelling in the field of the creative industries, using - words. Words are the key elements, the “building blocks” of stories - and they build a bridge between the different DDC members, whose backgrounds are as varied and manifold as can be. Most representative German design methods are still influenced by Bauhaus and “Ulmer Schule”. This means: however diverse the different approaches might be – whenever it comes to design, semiotics will be the one crucial instrument. A language, its words: these are the bricks of a story, the source, which constitutes everything.
